OUR LABORATORY

School science labs are a great place for students to learn science using practical experiments. This helps them enhance their learning by complementing the theoretical aspects of science that are taught in classrooms. A well-designed science laboratory not only makes science experiments fun but also helps students achieve the desired academic results.

The students of J.A.I.S have an easy access to all the laboratories which are architecturally beautiful and interesting centres of learning and knowledge through hands on experience of available resource.

OUR GOALS FOR SCHOOL LABORATORY

Students’ direct encounters with natural phenomena in laboratory science courses are inherently more ambiguous and messy than the representations of these phenomena in science lectures, textbooks, and mathematical formulas.

J.A.I.S has developed some of goals for or desired outcomes of school laboratory:

Mastery of subject matter: School Laboratory enhance student understanding of specific scientific facts and concepts and of the way in which these facts and concepts are organized in the scientific disciplines.
 
Developing scientific reasoning: School Laboratory promote a student’s ability to identify questions and concepts that guide scientific.
 
Developing practical skills: In School laboratory, students learn to use the tools and conventions of science.
 
Understanding of the nature of science: School Laboratory help students to understand the values and assumptions inherent in the development and interpretation of scientific knowledge, such as the idea that science is a human endeavour that seeks to understand the material world and that scientific theory, models, and explanations change over time on the basis of new evidence.

School laboratory is the only way to advance the goal of helping students understands the complexity and ambiguity of empirical work.
